CBN - Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride (BH and BL) Polycrystalline Cubic Boron Nitride is the second hardest cutting material next to Diamond, however, it has far less in common with Diamond. Reaction resistance reaches 1,250^1 which makes this cutting material have a very high wear resistance, toughness, compression strength and thermal hardness ideal for self-induced hot cutting mode of hardened steels.
